Recuerdos.

Family days Krefeld (29/4/2017-1/5/2017)

KREFELD EXCHANGE

During the week from 28th April to 5th May, 13 students of Lluís Domènech i Montaner High school, in Canet de Mar, did an exchange with Krefeld pupils, in Germany. We had a great time! Now, I will explain what we did on Tuesday 2ndMay.

At 8 o'clock we woke up, got dressed and had breakfast. Then, we met with the others at the Krefeld main train station. We went to Köln, a beautiful city about an hour away from our town. When we arrived, it was raining. We visited the cathedral. It is very big and old. It was saved from the bombing of the 70s Civil War and there are also three kings buried in golden tombs.
Then, we listened to a guide in the Römisch-Germanisches Museum. He told us about the history of the Romans, their settlements in Germany, some founded sculptures, among others.
Soon after, we went 533 stairs up the Dom-Turm. There are so nice views of the village from here!
We took some photos and we returned to the basement of the tower. We had lunch and later we had free time. We went all together at the loving Hohenzollern Bridge, which is full of padlocks. After that, we walked in little groups though the streets and went shopping. At 16:40 more or less, we took the train back to Krefeld. The trip was fantastic and we enjoyed it very much.

When Júlia, our German girls and I arrived at home we played the Cluedo. At half past six we had dinner. That shocked us a lot. It was really early!
Approximately at half past seven we all met at Vivien's father's school to watch a film. We watched Fantastic beasts and where to find them. It was long and boring. However, we had a good time. After a long amusing day, I arrived home and went to sleep.
